About
Hi Ladies - I've added in this page as a suggested layout for the website generally. If you look at the breadcrumb menu, because there are so many pages listed, it's showing as More.... this makes it harder for people to navigate and find things.
My suggestion is to group pages by a general theme as much as possible. Remember that pages can be set as sub-pages (on the Pages menu, drag the webpage to a new location including indented).
For example, an About page can include a link to the History page that you have set up, the Constitution below, to your policies, etc., an archive of Newsletters, membership information, etc. By grouping it under About, it is intuitive what to expect.

GROUSE MOUNTAIN DAY QUILTERS GUILD CONSTITUTION (a general note about naming things - the guild name is clearly showing at the top of the page so there is no need to repeatedly reference it in titles. Here, simply Constitution is all that is needed - it improves readability dramatically)
1. The name of the society is GROUSE MOUNTAIN DAY QUILTERS GUILD. 2. PURPOSE-to further quilters in the pursuit of their art through education and the sharing of common interests and to promote quilting with the greater public wherever possible through displays, demonstrations, donation of quilted items, workshops and shows. 3. This society is a member-funded society. It is funded primarily by its members to carry on activities for the benefit of its members. On its liquidation or dissolution, this society may distribute its money and other property to its members. revised June 2017 |
